Q: When is a weekend not a weekend?
A: Most visitation schedules grant first, third and fifth weekends of the month. This can be a bit confusing if the month begins on a Saturday. So the law has defined the weekends as starting on Fridays (since most visitation starts either when school lets out, or at 6 p.m.) So you can check the calendar for the month and look and see when is the first, third and fifth Friday and that will determine your visitation weekend.
